LOST finale
Just finished watching the finale. Still not sure that I understood any of it. And the biggest puzzle of all to me is whose voice is that in the ipad commercial? I recognize it but cannot figure it out! It's driving me crazy! If you have figured it out let me know.

Heidi's email
Heidi was working on typing a story on the computer and I told her that she could start her own email address and email people. My plan is that she will have something fun to learn how to type, write sentences, work on spelling, etc. She LOVES it! I started it yesterday and sent out and email to all the family members that i have email addresses for (I only have peggy and carma's from ben's side of the family) I wanted to share a few of the emails with since they are so funny. All of them start with dear ______, and include 'I love you'. But there are also things like:
You are crazy
You are a star
You are my BFF
I wish I was at your house so I could eat ice cream and play with the dogs
And my favorite is her email to Ben saying 'You eat poop'.
I got this morning at 7:15 and Heidi told me she had already sent off 5 emails this morning! That means she got up early, turned on the computer, started the internet thing and did her emails. She cracks me up.

K.I.T.
I can't stop thinking about how this is Ben's last year in school and what that means for us. Yes, we are closer to being employed (so excited) but we are also closer to moving again. And I don't want to do it. I've been searching my feelings to determine why I don't and I think I have finally figured it out. I will lose all my friends. Again.
For some reason in my life I've always had a close friend or two that is just awesome. They are the one you can call up when you need to vent, share exciting news, need help, want advice or even just want to hang out and have fun. But every single time I find a friend like that it never lasts long. Something always happens to end the relationship or I move away and after a time we lose contact. I feel like I try to keep up with them. I will call and for the first while things will be fine and we will have the chance to catch up and laugh about things. But then the time between calls lengthens. Then you notice that they never call you, you always call them. Then they don't answer when you call but call back later. Then, and this is the worst, you call, they don't answer, and this time, they don't call back. You give them time because they may just be busy but soon months have passed. You called a few more times but still there is never a callback. That is when you (I) have to face the facts that your friend no longer has time for you anymore. In their busy lives you have been the thing they had to let go to make room for something or someone else. And it feels terrible. And I don't want to go through it again.
However there have been three things that give me comfort. First is that I know Heavenly Father loves me. Even if we move and my set of Memphis friends falls into oblivion like the rest He will provide me with new friends. It will take time but there will be someone provided for me to be my friend. Second, this is why family is so important. They can't drop you even if they wanted to. I know that I can call a family member and talk if I needed to. And most of them will call back even if they miss my call. My family will always love me and keep in contact.
And the third thing, the most important source of comfort, is Ben. He is truly my best friend and he will always be my friend. We just celebrated our 8th wedding anniversary yesterday. The day started with Blake spitting up on me and ended with me patting Blake to sleep. However, in between, the day had texts back and forth between us since we couldn't be together. He is the best husband I could have ever asked for. And when everyone else fails he is always there for me. I'm so lucky to have him.
So the point is that I am dreading the next move. I have loved it out here and I will be extremely sad to go. I still have a year to go and already I am mourning the loss that will come as we leave. We have made a lot of good friends and I am already starting to miss them. I guess the only thing left to do is write a note 'You're cool. Have a good summer. K.I.T.' even though you know it will fade out at some point.

Gramma and Grandpa
Ben's parent came out for a visit. It was a good visit but I think they brought some bad luck with them. The night they got in there was the storm that flooded part of the state and part of Ben's car. We spent Saturday listening to the tornado sirens going on and off ALL DAY LONG.

Worst Blessing Day Yet
I was really looking forward to a wonderful blessing day with Blake but, as will be the story of his life, his sisters ruined the whole thing. Here are the ONLY pictures we got. He is all wrapped up for bed so you can't see his cute outfit but he was so tired I was not about to unwrap him just for the pictures.
